Kapital Bank, the country's first bank, places great importance on educational projects and the development of professional personnel. As part of these projects, in July 2023, a scholarship program called Birbank was announced for students. The scholarship program involved young people studying in their third year, with an average university admission score of 550 or higher and an average academic score of 81 or higher. Students who successfully passed the multi-stage selection process were awarded the title of 'Birbank Scholar'. The scholarship program has already shown positive results.
In addition to receiving the scholarship, students participated in three in-house sessions on 'Data', Agile, and 'Career Steps', as well as two trainings on 'Career and Professional Growth', 'Communication and Presentation Skills'. These sessions were aimed at providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary for their professional development. The internship programs correspond to the qualifications of the scholarship recipients. As a result, students began their internship at Kapital Bank in their respective fields for a period of 3 months.
In the near future, participants in the Birbank scholarship program will also be involved in a mentoring program. By the end of the year, a total of 6 sessions and a minimum of 3 mentor meetings will be organized. The aim is to enhance the knowledge and skills of students in their respective areas. Additionally, in October-November, 2 more trainings on developing students' soft skills are planned.
