Asus has introduced the gaming monitor ROG Strix XG27WCS, featuring a 27-inch curved display with a 1440p resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate.
The ROG Strix XG27WCS is based on a Fast VA panel with a 1ms response time (GtG). The screen has a 1500R curvature radius, supports a 2560 × 1440 pixel resolution, offers 95% DCI-P3 color space coverage, and 125% sRGB coverage.
The display's maximum brightness is 400 cd/m², and the contrast ratio is 3000:1. The monitor comes with support for AMD FreeSync image synchronization technology, Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB), and ELMB-Sync technologies that reduce motion blur, as well as various gaming features including Variable Overdrive 2.0 (reduces response time and increases refresh rate), Dynamic Shadow Boost (improves shadow quality), and Dynamic Crosshair (digital dynamic reticle).
The monitor also features Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light technologies to reduce eye strain. It includes a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode and device charging support, as well as one DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio output.
The monitor also comes with an ergonomic stand that allows for height adjustment, swivel, and tilt. Additionally, it has VESA 100 x 100 mounting for use with wall mounts.
