Anker recently introduced a new iteration of its Soundcore Sleep A20 earbuds designed for sleep. The earbuds are aimed to calm sleepers down with a built-in alarm clock and other features. The A20 model boasts a significant increase in battery life, providing 14 hours of continuous white noise playback in the 'Sleep' mode, which is 4 hours more than its predecessor.
The built-in alarm clock allows users to wake up without disturbing their partners. Automatic sleep monitoring with sleep position tracking and 'find my earbuds' feature through a companion app add another layer of interest to these earbuds. Despite the lack of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology, the A20 uses 'Twin-Seal ear tips' providing triple noise isolation compared to standard silicone tips. Additionally, they play white noise from the built-in library to further mask external irritants.
Pre-orders on Kickstarter will start on April 16 at a discounted price of $89.99. Traditional retail stores like Amazon will begin offering the A20 on May 20 at the full price of $149.99.
