For the quarter, the company's consolidated revenue amounted to $1.997 billion; gross profit - $218.52 million with a margin of 10.9%; operating profit - $43.96 million with a margin of 2.2%; net profit - $32.26 million; earnings per share - $0.01.
For the full year 2023, consolidated revenue reached $7.631 billion; gross profit - $816.53 million with a margin of 10.7%; operating profit - $133.77 million with a margin of 1.8%; net profit - $155.91 million; earnings per share - $0.05.
Acer's direction in the production of PCs and monitors has returned to profitability and has started to respond to traditional seasonal trends; inventory levels are under control.
The company is optimistic about the opportunities that artificial intelligence offers and expects that in 2024 and beyond, generative AI will become a defining direction. Acer continued to develop a strategy of exploring multiple business lines: in 2023, three of its subsidiaries went public, and by the end of the current year, their number will increase to 12.
Non-PC and monitor directions in 2023 accounted for 42.8% of the company's operating income. Acer's board of directors approved a dividend payment of $0.05 per share, based on the registration date of June 26 - the payment will be made on July 25.
